These are the first 50 “Prototype” mid-sized Field Cleavers. Each one is machined engraved inside “prototype” and limited finishes of each grind variation were made.

Titanium frame lock design with weight lightening pockets machined inside.

They run hardened stainless steel lock inserts on a radius lock face that is solid as my customs.

Ceramic detent ball.

The Back spacer, pocket clip, and all hardware is titanium. Custom machined T25 Torx drive pivots were also added, fitting for a cleaver.

They run on ceramic caged bearings with hardened stainless washers.

The action is extremely snappy and crisp, with smooth lock disengagement, and a drop shut action. Each FC is shipped in a nice zipper pouch with a sticker of Zephyr.

These knives are not made in the USA or by me. I designed them and oversaw the entire production process down to the tolerances, blade hardness, fit, and finish. Each one is quality controlled and inspected by me before shipping. This is roughly 7 months in the making and I’m proud to put my name on them.
